Rata Academy was born from a desire to create a new kind of centre for shooting sports, safety training and experiences - a place where beginners can get started safely, develop their skills with purpose, or train in world-class facilities. We found the perfect place in Monninkylä, Askola, where a former educational institution was given a new lease of life as a modern training, event and shooting centre.
Today, we are the only facility in Europe to bring together high-quality shooting services for beginners, enthusiasts and professionals under one roof. Our centre offers modern indoor ranges, a functional training environment designed for demanding practice, and high-quality training services for individuals, companies, professionals and groups. The experience is complemented by accommodation, restaurant services and versatile meeting and event facilities, ranging from seminars and corporate events to trade fairs with several hundred participants.
Our operations are built on a strong network of partners. Our services are complemented by Box Café Bar & Grill, Mil-Safarit, Monaco Gym, Hallan Fasaanijahdit, Kannonnokka and Uudenmaan Paintball ry among others. Our equipment partners include Sako, Varuste.net, Viranomainen.fi, Sig Sauer, Beretta, Aimponit, FinnProtec, and UF PRO. Their products support high-quality training, education and event experiences.
Although we are still at the beginning of our journey, our ambitions extend far into the future. We are continuously investing in our facilities and developing new ways to serve our customers, with the ambition of establishing Rata Academy as Europe’s leading destination for shooting sports, safety training and memorable experiences - where safety, expertise and outstanding facilities come together.
