How to Get Started with Shooting
Getting started with shooting is easy when you take it one step at a time.
At Rata Academy, you can progress at your own pace, either with guidance or by moving directly to independent practice.
1. Introductory Shooting – The First Step
Everyone starts with an introductory shooting session.
You’ll get a safe and guided introduction to the shooting range, learn the basics of firearm handling and get to try shooting under the guidance of a professional.
The introductory shooting session costs €59.
2. Polku – An Optional Next Step
After the introductory shooting session, you can choose to continue with Polku (Path) training.
Polku is designed for you if you:
Want to build more confidence before practising independently
Are not yet sure how to progress with shooting
Want to develop your skills with guidance
This step is optional. You can also move directly to the next stage.
Polku costs €79.
3. Your Shooting Journey Begins
After the introductory shooting session (and Pathway, if you choose to take it), you can continue shooting in two ways:
- Membership – the most affordable option for regular practice
- Occasional range visits with a multi-visit pass or a single-session fee
