Practical Shooting Training
Practical shooting training is one of the most popular ways to develop your shooting skills through hands-on experience. Each session takes place on a pre-designed shooting course, prepared in advance by a range officer. Every run simulates a scenario that combines movement, decision-making and shooting.
At Rata Academy, you can take part in practical shooting training using your own firearm or a rental firearm.
The session begins with a safety briefing and an introduction to the course, after which you'll have the opportunity to complete it several times. Each run is supervised by a range officer, who records your time, hits and shot placement. You'll receive a score for every round, allowing you to track your progress and see how your skills improve.
An essential part of the training is learning how to plan your approach to the course. You'll learn to prepare your run in advance: how to move through the course, where to reload and how to use your time efficiently. The instructor will provide feedback and practical tips to help you improve your performance, confidence and consistency.
