The right equipment protects your hearing, eyes and body, while also improving performance and comfort.
Hearing Protection
Protection that is not optional. A gunshot can produce sound levels of over 150 decibels, which is enough to cause permanent hearing damage from a single exposure. That is why hearing protection is absolutely mandatory whenever shooting. At an indoor shooting range, it is recommended to use double hearing protection: earplugs + electronic hearing protection.
Safety Glasses
Your eyesight is priceless. When shooting, spent casings, propellant gases and fragments can hit the face. That is why safety glasses are mandatory at all ranges.
Key features of safety glasses:
- Ballistic protection (EN166 or MIL-STD) – ensures the lenses can withstand impact.
- Clear lenses for indoor ranges.
- Adjustable fit and curvature – the glasses should cover the eyes from all angles.
- Anti-fog protection improves visibility in cold or humid conditions.
Invest in quality – for example, ESS, Bollé, Wiley X and Peltor manufacture tested models.
