Background: Who are you and what do you do?
We are the team behind a company called Wuohi. Wuohi is a Finnish digital marketing and e-commerce specialist. We help businesses increase their online visibility, generate more leads and grow their sales through search engine optimisation (SEO & GEO), Google Ads, content marketing, and the development of websites and online stores.

Miksi valitsitte ammunnan ja nimenomaan Rata Academyn?
We have a tradition of organising a shared activity as part of both our summer party and Christmas celebrations. We usually try to choose something that no one in the group has tried before, or at least something that offers a new and different experience.
This time, we wanted to find something that stood out from the more traditional team activities. Shooting at Rata Academy immediately seemed like an interesting option, as it offered a completely different experience from anything we had done before.
We were also drawn to the professional organisation, safe environment and the opportunity to try something that few people get to experience in their everyday lives. The experience certainly lived up to our expectations, and the day left the whole team with plenty of new experiences and shared memories.
How did the shooting session go from start to finish?
First, we had a comprehensive briefing on how to behave safely at the shooting range and how to act in different situations. Safety was clearly the starting point for everything, which created a good and reassuring feeling from the very beginning.
At the range, the instructor was present throughout, guiding us and making sure that everyone knew what to do next. The guidance was clear, calm and professional.
Everything went extremely well. Some of us had never even held a firearm before, but thanks to the good guidance, everyone quickly got the hang of it and had the chance to experience success.
We also added a little competitive spirit by organising a small competition to see who would perform best with the different firearms. There was plenty of accuracy, concentration and a bit of good-natured banter among the group, which added another dimension to the experience.
The shooting range experience was certainly memorable for many of us. The excitement felt different from that of traditional team activities — everyone was completely focused on the moment, making the successes all the more rewarding.
The facilities also made a great impression. They are modern, clean and kept in excellent condition. Overall, our visit to Rata Academy was a very successful experience, offering just the right mix of new things to learn, memorable experiences, shared successes and healthy competition.
What was your impression after the shooting session?
Heti ammunnan jälkeen juttelimme yhteisesti siitä, mikä tuntui helpolta, mikä yllätti ja missä oli eniten haastetta. Moni huomasi, että osuminen voi näyttää helpommalta kuin mitä se oikeasti onkaan. Toisaalta onnistumiset jäivät erityisen hyvin mieleen.
Keskustelu jatkui vilkkaana pitkin iltaa. Erityisesti käytiin läpi eri aseiden eroja, omia suorituksia ja päivän pieniä kilpailuja. Se että puhuttavaa riittää vielä tuntienkin jälkeen kertoo onnistuneesta aktiviteetista.
Kaiken kaikkiaan päivästä jäi erittäin positiivinen fiilis. Saimme kokea jotain monelle täysin uutta, haastaa itseämme turvallisessa ympäristössä ja viettää samalla hauskaa aikaa porukalla.
Would you recommend shooting for work teams and other groups?
Absolutely. It’s always nice to try something new, especially when many traditional team activities, such as escape rooms, bowling and similar activities, are already familiar to many people.
Shooting offers just the right amount of excitement, concentration and a sense of achievement in a way that differs from typical team days. At the same time, it’s an activity that suits everyone, including those with no previous experience with firearms.
Shooting is an excellent choice for company activity days, team events, customer events or groups of friends who want to do something a little different together. Thanks to the good guidance, the threshold for taking part is low, and the experience will certainly give you something to talk about for a long time afterwards.
